Q: How is it to face Janeth Arcain as an opponent?
Swoopes: It's fun and it's exciting. Janeth's a very good player, especially playing international ball. It's a little different. We've played Brazil before and Janeth absolutely tried to kill us. I think she kind of feels, not so much that she has something to prove, but she's playing the U.S. so obviously she wants to go out and play well. It's a challenge. At the beginning of the game I wasn't guarding her and then coach decided to switch over. It didn't really matter if I was guarding her or not. If I was, I knew I was going to need help, and if I wasn't guarding her then I was going to try to help off on her as much as possible. She's a very good player and I'm glad she's on my team in Houston. When we're playing against her like this, I just try to not let her go off for 30 points.
